New pilgrim hostel in Robles de la Valcueva: The Matallana de Torío City Council inaugurated last Friday, April 11, the new municipal pilgrim hostel under the name "Puerta de la Montaña" in Robles de la Valcueva. The event, which took place during the morning, was represented by the mayor of the municipality, José García; the president of the Leonese Association of the Forgotten Path, as well as members of the Cuatro Valles and Montaña Palentina Local Action Groups.
The new facilities, which have 10 beds distributed in 3 rooms for the use of pilgrims and other overnight stays, have all the comforts, including a full kitchen and toilets, with the aim of providing service to both visitors and people who make the section through this area of the Leonesa Central Mountain of the Forgotten Way each month.
The rate will be 10 euros per person per night and information for reservations and payment can be made by calling 987.578.209 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
