Inspiring! Adoration, 90 Years Old, Conquers the Camino de Santiago for Inclusion in Joëlette
Tomelloso, Spain – The tenth edition of the Camino de Santiago for Inclusion, an initiative of Plena Inclusion Castilla-La Mancha, is witnessing a moving and spirit-filled feat. A group of 14 people from AFAS (Association of Relatives and Friends of People with Disabilities) participate this week in this journey, but one figure stands out with its own light: Mendoza Worship, an AFAS volunteer from 90 years old.
Adoración is fulfilling a dream on the Camino thanks to a Joëlette chair, a chair model specially adapted for people with reduced mobility, which allows you to travel the route with your companions.

A History of Will and Companionship
From Radio Surco, in the program "Las Mañanas", we have had the opportunity to talk with this admirable pilgrim and with Luis Ballesteros, coordinator of Leisure, Sports and Volunteering at AFAS, who is also part of the expedition. The interview has revealed the strength and joy that characterize Adoración, as well as the commitment and solidarity of the entire group.
This expedition to the Camino de Santiago is not only a physical challenge, but also a powerful message of inclusion, demonstrating that age and reduced mobility are not insurmountable barriers when you have adequate support and the desire to improve.
