Camino de Santiago with family. The Jacetania Region has presented several activities aimed at family audiences, combining leisure, coexistence and learning to value the territory. One of the notable initiatives is «Get to know your region through the Camino de Santiago», which continues the phase started last year. In this second phase, five stages have been scheduled between Castillo de Jaca and Artieda, with the aim that the residents of Jacetania discover the cultural and historical wealth of the Camino de Santiago beyond its external promotion. As Andrés Bartolomé, counselor of the Camino de Santiago area, points out: «Investing in the road is investing in the territory; To make a path is to make territory. We have a unique heritage: let's take care of it and make it worth it.
Another proposal is «A Storytelling Region», an activity designed for holidays and the non-school period of Holy Week. Through the Balentuela Caravan, eight towns in the territory will be visited, bringing Aragonese culture closer to the little ones through traditional proverbs and stories. In addition, the habit of reading among boys and girls will be encouraged.
