To all Jacobean associations, federations and/or groups:
The Spanish Federation of Associations of Friends of the Camino de Santiago presents the

Galicia during 2025.

pilgrims.
Management:
We offer all Jacobean groups the opportunity for their members to participate in
the program, which consists of accompaniment of pilgrims for biweekly periods, from June
to October 2025.
Each volunteer may carry out 1 or 2 fortnights, but in the case of two fortnights, in different

the times of greatest influx of pilgrims in the place. Accompany, give information about the place
or the following stages, taking an interest in their physical and emotional state, etc.
This volunteering does not imply an employment relationship nor will it have any financial remuneration. The
Volunteers must pay for travel and food during their shift.
They will not have to carry out other tasks such as cleaning, registration, payment for the stay of the
pilgrim, etc.... which are exclusive tasks of the house workers.
To access the program, each Jacobean group may present as many members as they want to
the shelters listed at the end of this document.
