The Muros-Noia Estuary Path already has a guide, the work of Antón Pombo: He Muros-Noia estuary path continues of editorial premieres. If last January the first catalog of maritime pilgrimages through the Ría da Estrela was presented in Fitur, Your path is in the sea. Maritime pilgrimages 2025, now it's the turn of the first guide written about this Jacobean route. The book, titled The Camino de Santiago from the Muros-Noia estuary, it is the work of Anton Pombo, historian, writer, journalist and one of the greatest experts on the Camino de Santiago.
If the catalog presents different proposals to carry out the sea road to Santiago for the Estrela estuary (by Sailway, Asnauga or the Monte Real Yacht Club of Baiona), Pombo's book focuses its attention on the land itinerary. In fact, the guide includes the itineraries of the different stages of this Jacobean route and offers multiple tips and information of interest to facilitate and make the experience of the pilgrims who travel it more special.
In this sense, Antón Pombo's special connection with the Camino de Santiago of the Muros-Noia estuary stands out, as shown by the fact that the proposal of stages collected on the website www.caminoriamurosnoia.gal was prepared by him, with output from both Walls as of Porto do Son, and due to its short length and smooth profile it is configured as an alternative especially recommended for people who do not have much time but who wish to carry out a Camino de Santiago complete.
