A new way of living the Camino that mixes tradition and social networks
The Camino de Santiago continues to change with the times. And this time he does it in a way that only a few years ago seemed unthinkable: walking... and recording everything.
La Rioja has launched a different volunteer camp, where young people will walk the Camino while creating audiovisual content. Not only are they going to walk, they are also going to tell what they experience.
A simple idea, but very current.
Walk, record and share
For several days, participants will travel stages of the French Way as they pass through La Rioja. But it won't be just any Camino.
As they go, they will record videos, take images and share their experience from the inside. The objective is not only to document the route, but to show the Camino as it is experienced today: real, close and without filters.
Because the Camino is no longer only remembered... it is also shared in the moment.
The Camino seen by a new generation
This project is designed for young people, and this is evident in the way they understand the Camino. It is not just about getting to Santiago, but about experiencing each stage in a different way.
There will be coexistence, learning and also creation. A mix that connects perfectly with what many young people are looking for today: experiences that make sense.
And in that context, the Camino continues to be a unique setting.

Tradition and future walking together
The interesting thing about this initiative is how it unites two worlds. On the one hand, the usual Way: walk, share, discover. On the other hand, the current way of communicating: video, networks, live stories.
Far from breaking with tradition, these types of projects bring it closer to new generations.
Because if the Camino wants to stay alive, it also has to speak the language of those who will walk it in the future.
An experience that goes beyond summer
This volunteer field is not just a one-time activity. It is a way of understanding where the Camino is going.
More and more people not only want to live the experience, they also want to tell it. And that is changing the way the Camino is shown to the world.
The Camino continues to evolve
After centuries, the Camino de Santiago continues to demonstrate something very clear: it never stands still.
You adapt, change, and find new ways to move forward.
And now, in addition to walking...
It is also recorded, edited and shared.
