Obdulia Labiano Vallejo has died in Haro at the age of 81. She was, among other things, trustee of the Festivals of San Juan, San Felices and San Pedro in 2017.
Born in Pamplona, Labiano came to Haro when she was very young and was a founding member of the then Housewives Association. Among other things, she taught classes in the home for the elderly or occupational therapy in different parts of the Riojan geography and was a collaborator of different associations, such as Friends of Gimileo, Barro de las Huertas, Asprodema, Cofradía de San Felices or the Association of Friends of the Camino de Santiago de Haro-Rioja Alta, among others. In fact, she was recognized as Honorary Pilgrim 2016 along with four other companions.
The family receives at the Haro Funeral Services Mortuary this Saturday, February 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
