The Astorga City Council, continuing with its project to recover and beautify the Camino de Santiago through art, has presented its fifth sculptural intervention. This initiative, which combines the enhancement of historical heritage with the pilgrim's experience, has transformed the unique needle guard house in a new point of interest for walkers.
The project has managed not only to rehabilitate this railway architectural element, a silent witness to the passage of thousands of pilgrims over decades, but also to give it a new life. The incorporation of a sculpture set It now invites interaction and surprise, offering walkers a moment of pause and admiration.

With this action, Astorga reaffirms its commitment to improving the Jacobean route and its desire to offer a unique and enriching experience to all those who travel it, combining history, art and hospitality.
