I present in Galizia a project that is unique to the great European story
Santiago de Compostela has hosted the official presentation of the project «Antichi Cammini d'Italia», an initiative that aims to value some of the most important historical, cultural and spiritual aspects of the country. The story of the capital of Galizia is not a coincidence: Santiago presents one of the most important centers of pellegrinaggio to the world and a point of reference for millions of camminators that have passed through it every year. Camino de Santiago.
The initiative, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Tourism in all'ENIT, l'Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo, looks to far conoscere percorsi che traversano territories rich in history, traditions and artistic heritage. Il progetto si inserisce nella crescente tendenza del tourisuo slow, semper più apprezzato da chi desidera livere esperienze autentiche lontano dai circuiti turistici più affollati.
Five percorsi verse the spiritual heart of Italy
Through the itinerary protagonists figure the Via Francigena, the Romea Strata, the Via Romea Germanica, il Camino di San Francesco and il Path of San Benedetto. All this rotte leads to Rome, to the final goal of the films coming from all of Europe.
Come on the Cammino of Santiago, also allow access to natural landscapes, medieval buildings, monasteries and places of great cultural value. The objective is to offer travelers an experience that offers spirituality, scope of the territory and direct contact with the local community.

Santiago and Rome, unite the history of the pellegrinaggi
The presentation of the project has evidenced the strong legacy between Santiago de Compostela and Rome, due to the cities that have been presented and the main points of reference to the European pellegrinaggio.
Secondly, the promoters, the Italian roads and the Camino di Santiago share the values: sustainability, sustainability, incontro tra culture and valorization of historical heritage. For this reason the collaboration between the diverse regions of European roads is considered fundamental to promote responsible and respectful tourism of the territories.
Cresce il tourism dei cammini in Europa
Negli last year the number of people who are traveling on foot or by bicycle long ago the story has increased in a significant way. The success of the Cammino di Santiago has contributed to rilanciare percorsi in many European countries, transforming the tourism of the cammini into one of the most dynamic sets of the continent.
