The day included a hospitable welcome to representatives of other Jacobean associations, an emotional act of "twinning" between the different entities and the long-awaited discovery of a commemorative plaque. This plaque, located next to the Castro Urdiales church, will serve as a permanent reminder of the significance of this date for the northern Jacobean route.
The celebration not only served to look back and appreciate UNESCO's recognition, but also to strengthen the community spirit among those who dedicate their efforts to preserving and promoting Los Caminos del Norte.
