An Aragonese couple embarks on the most original adventure of the Camino de Santiago: traveling it by tractor and with a smile that is already conquering everyone
The Camino de Santiago always surprises. But this story... it's already another level.
While many pilgrims prepare with technical boots, ultralight backpacks and apps to measure each step, a couple from Huesca has decided to do it their way: by tractor. Yes, on a tractor. And not because of posturing... but because of the desire to live a different, authentic and, above all, unforgettable experience.
From Berbegal to Santiago, about 1,600 kilometers round trip, calmly, with humor and with that spirit that defines the true Camino: doing things your way.
A Camino with its own rhythm (and without rushing)
Here there are no 30 kilometer stages or races to reach the hostel. Here the rhythm is set by the engine… and the desire.
While others count steps, they will tell anecdotes.
While some suffer the slopes... they will climb slowly, but with style 😄
And the best: without ever losing your smile.

Crazy... but one of the cool ones
Let's be clear: doing the Camino on a tractor sounds crazy.
But it's one of those beautiful crazy things. The kind that makes you think: “I wish that had occurred to me.”
Because the Camino is not a closed norm. It is an open experience. Each person lives it as they want, as they can... or as they feel like.
And this couple is very clear about it.
The Camino is also laughing
Imagine the scene:
A group of pilgrims climbing a hill, sweating, concentrated...
and suddenly... a tractor appears behind.
Silence.
Looks.
And then laughter.
Because in the end, this is also the Camino: sharing unexpected moments that make you smile when you need it most.
Without Compostela… but with history
No, they will not get the official Compostela. The regulation does not yet contemplate “tractor mode” 😅
But honestly... who needs a role when you have a story like that?
Because in a few years, when they remember this trip, they will not talk about stamps... they will talk about everything they experienced.
And that is worth much more.
A message that engages
Behind this adventure there is something very powerful:
That the Camino is not a competition.
That there is no single way to do it.
And the important thing is to take the step... even if it is on a tractor.
Because in the end, we are all looking for the same thing: to experience something worth remembering.
Good luck... and don't miss out on diesel
From here all that remains is to say:
👏 Bravo for the idea
👏 Bravo for the courage
👏 And above all… bravo for doing it with humor
Because the Camino is also that: enjoying, laughing and leaving a mark.
And you have already achieved it.
