The new hostel that revolutionizes the Camino de Muros y Noia

The first hostel on the route provides a unique advantage for pilgrims

The Way of the Muros and Noia estuary continues to take important steps in its growth with the inauguration of Portus Apostoli, the first specific hostel on this Jacobean route and an infrastructure that comes to reinforce the tourist and accommodation offer for the thousands of pilgrims who discover this Galician itinerary every year.

The opening of this new space is a milestone for a route that in recent years has experienced notable growth thanks to the interest of walkers in traveling less crowded itineraries, with a strong cultural, landscape and gastronomic attraction. The Camino de la Ría de Muros y Noia allows you to enjoy spectacular coastal landscapes, historical heritage, rural tourism and some of the best gastronomic experiences in Galicia.

One of the most striking aspects of Portus Apostoli is that it becomes the only hostel on the Camino that allows pilgrims to spend the night for two consecutive nights. This feature offers great flexibility for those who want to rest, get to know the region more peacefully or enjoy the area's tourist attractions without the pressure of continuing their journey the next day.

The new establishment was also born with the objective of becoming a meeting point for national and international pilgrims. The growing popularity of this route is attracting visitors interested in discovering a different alternative to the more traditional paths, combining sea, nature, culture and Jacobean history.

The Camino de la Ría de Muros y Noia stands out for being one of the routes with the greatest projection within the Jacobean universe. Its route passes through fishing villages, beaches, forests and historical enclaves that allow the pilgrim to live a very different experience from other itineraries. The inauguration of new infrastructures such as Portus Apostoli reinforces the commitment to sustainable tourism capable of generating economic activity in the territory and improving services for travelers.

The opening of this hostel is also excellent news for the local tourism sector. Hotels, restaurants, shops and companies linked to the Camino hope to benefit from the increase in visitors that this route is registering, especially in view of the next Xacobeo 2027, an event that is already beginning to mobilize projects and investments in numerous points in Galicia.
